Cycle Touring Routes
The routes start and finish in our resort. You can bring your own bike or rent one. At the hotel we have a room exclusively for our clients’ bicycles.

Pals rice fields
Length: 13Km
Level: Low
Completely flat, safe and accessible route, to be done in a couple of hours, with friends or family, to get to know other aspects of the territory, such as the rice fields of Pals and its diversified fauna.
Baix Ter
Length: 9Km
Level: Low
Completely flat, safe* and accessible route, to be done in a couple of hours, with friends or family, to get to know other aspects of the territory, such as the lower section of the river Ter and its diversified fauna.
La Gola del Ter
Length: 15Km
Level: Low
Completely flat, safe* and accessible route, to be done in a couple of hours, with friends or family, to get to know other aspects of the territory, such as the lower section of the river Ter and its diversified fauna.
Pals

Completely flat, safe and accessible route to discover the old town of Pals. The Romanesque tower of the “Hores” is the most representative building, as well as the church of “Sant Pere” and the viewpoint of Pedró.
Peratallada

The village of Peratallada, a historic-artistic site and a cultural asset of national interest, is one of the most important centres of medieval architecture in Catalonia.
Ullastret

This route leads directly to the Iberian site of the settlement of Sant Andreu, which is one of the most interesting architectural ensembles in the region. The first Iberian settlement dates from the first half of the 6th century BC.

Montgrí
Lenght: 37Km
Difficulty: Moderate
It runs along local paths and trails (SL) of “Les Dunes”, “Mungtanya Gran” and “Ruta del Vent”. Within the Montgrí-Illes Medes Natural Park.
Quermany
Length: 23km
Difficulty: Moderate
Ascent to the top of the “Quermany gros” from where you can enjoy a magnificent view of Pals and the Montgri massif.
Rocamaura
Lenght: 34Km
Difficulty: Moderate
It runs along local paths and tracks (SL), “Les Dunes”, “Rocamaura” and “Ruta del Vent”. Magnificent views of the Medes Islands and the plain of the River Ter.
Fitor
Lenght: 57Km
Difficulty: Moderate
It runs along local paths and trails (SL) of “Les Gavarres” that will take us to the hermitage of Fitor.
Road Cycling
There are kilometres and kilometres of reasons to enjoy cycling on the Costa Brava. Cycle along the secondary roads that link the towns and villages of the Girona area.

Route characteristics
Long distance trails (GR, more than 50 km) cross Europe and are marked in white and red. Short distance trails (PR, between 10 and 50 km), of local or regional area, are marked in white and yellow. Local trails (SL) are less than 10 km long and are marked in white* and green. (*This colour may change depending on the area).
To make the trip more pleasant, we recommend:
- To wear comfortable clothing, preferably breathable
- Flexible trousers, or at least avoid jeans type trousers.
- Sports shoes will suffice, but bear in mind that the mountain paths are very rocky and your feet can suffer.
- Everyone should carry a pan of water (1 or 2 litres) or some kind of hydrating liquid.
