A perfect family day at El Delfín Verde is a day that can start very early, end after midnight and last in your memory for a long time, because in our resort we offer you all the services and fun that may be necessary for a perfect stay: first class accommodation, swimming pools, water park, bars and restaurants, water sports, shops, massages, laundry, WIFI…
On any morning of your holiday, whatever accommodation you choose, you can get up, put on your swimshort and a T-shirt, flip-flops or any type of comfortable clothing and go out for breakfast next to the beach, one of the quietest and cleanest on the Costa Brava, in any of our restaurants.
Think of a coffe with milk and a croissant on the terrace of restaurant Papaya, next to the sand, while watching the sea and the sunrise. And the children, if you travel with the family, drink a juice and play with a ball or with their tablet.
Afterwards, you can spend the morning lying in the sun on the beach or on a sun lounger by one of our pools, most of which have a children’s area, while you sip a cool beer or one of our famous cocktails. And if you fancy something a little more lively, take your children to Dolfi Water Park, our water park, which offers hours and hours of fun.
And we should start thinking about eating something, because hunger is unforgiving, and the children need to recover their strength. Here the range of options open to us is huge: Italian food at Il Delfino, a little rice dish at Corsario Negro, tapas with a Mediterranean flavour at the Terraza Pool bar, and to finish off the meal… How about an ice cream? We have the best ice creams on the Costa Brava and Barcelona.
After a siesta in your bungalow or in the hotel, whatever your accommodation, rest is guaranteed.
And in the afternoon, you can take the opportunity to have a massage, relax in the spa or visit a nearby village with the family, such as Torroella de Montgrí or Begur. And back at the resort, a cocktail or a refreshing drink, then shower, have dinner and sit on any terrace to watch the moon while enjoying a gin and tonic.
For example, in Torroella de Montgrí and L’Estartit you can find coastal paths and local trails that climb up the mountain and end in coves and hidden corners of the coast, discover emblematic spots such as the Plaça de la Vila, visit the Museum of Mediterrània and art galleries such as the Mascort Foundation and the Vila Casas Foundation. And, of course, you’ll be surprised by the small local produce shops you’ll find with authentic delicacies to enjoy.
And then, on the way back, it’s time for dinner. Our recommendation for a special day, the Asian Taste, or if there’s a match and you don’t want to miss it, the Sport Bar, the Champions League final or all the World Cup matches on the big screen and with beer and tapas at your discretion, because we’re on holiday.
And if you still have enough energy left, you can go out dancing or have a drink in a unique and relaxed atmosphere, enjoying any of our shows or concerts in the moonlight.
